After much discussion, the children were provided with a variety of materials to sort into their own groups based on a category of their choice.

This week team CH have been on the hunt for the elusive Gruffalo. We were able to track the Gruffalo to the nature reserve and began to describe the setting of the deep, dark woods. This week in maths we have began to use < > and = to compare numbers. Using cubes we were able to count the number of tens and ones and explain why something is greater than, less than or equal to.This week in team CH we received a very worrying letter from framer McDonald. His goats were in danger, but lucky for him team CH have some incredible writers. We created a short character description of the Troll, so that farmer McDonald could keep his goats safe. This week in team CH we have focussed on poetry and have created our own free verse poems.
