What an amazing adventure we had on our school trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Firstly, we had habitat lesson with keeper Julia. We explored four different habitats and the animals that live there. We held and discussed a polar bears skull, camels fur, giant rivers otters paw print and a replica giraffes blue tongue! We also, go the chance to hold some unusual animals such as, a bearded dragon, giant African snail and a hissing cockroach called Jimmy!
We then, had the rest of the day to explore the park. We enjoyed exploring all the different animals and discussing their habitats. We especially enjoyed our lunch and a play in the bug playground :-)
