This Thursday, Team SG had a great time getting to know one another. We spent some time playing icebreaker games after a fantastic assembly in which Mr Fidment read 'A Planet in a Pickle Jar'.Whether it's films, sports, or hobbies, we all have a lot in common! We decided on our class rules, and everyone made some wonderful contributions. After playtime, everyone spent some time creating 'helping hands'. These are now laminated and ready for our door in September. They're really useful since they show us who our most trusted adults and friends are. We also spent time identifying individual goals for Year 3, and it was wonderful to hear about everything our team will be striving towards. I'm excited to see how we progress, whether it's meeting new friends, improving our handwriting, or getting better at football. We then made our own jar artwork, filling them with drawings and words that we thought best described us. Team SG worked extremely hard on all of their artwork, and it will undoubtedly brighten our classroom! We finished the day with a class reading of 'The Odd Dog.' It was amazing spending the day with everyone, and I am looking forward to September!
