This week we have been... In Maths - learning how to compare numbers using < > and = and partitioning/combining numbers (e.g. 49 = 40 + 9) In Literacy - learning how to write a playscript about the killer cat and his family (these were really funny!) Science - learning how we see things with our eyes and how some materials are more reflective than others. check out the following links for the science videos and activities that we used in lessons: How does the eye detect light? - BBC Bitesize This week we have... Maths - partitioning numbers into 10s and 1s, counting in 10s forwards and backwards, placing numbers on number lines, Literacy - focusing on past and present tense. Science - been learning about natural and artificial sources of light. History - been learning about the periods of history from the stone age and placing them on a time line. Music - been learning to play the note of G on the xylophone to complement a song with a drone. Spanish - been learning vocabulary for the names of time periods in British History (History Link - see Spanish Webpage) PE - been perfecting a pike, tuck and straddle low level shape. Mindfulness - been creating autumn college picture
