We have learnt a new Maths song this week- One Elephant out to Play. This is a one more song so we began with one elephant and added one more each time we sang the song. The children showed how many elephants on their fingers and counted how many altogether. There was so much Maths in this activity. Here are a few photos of our group time: In our Maths area, we have had some coloured elephants to explore with numbered spiders webs from our song. The children have enjoyed sorting, counting and matching the elephants on their own and with their friends. Such a lot of learning and talk!
