To remind you of all the different word classes (nouns, verbs, adjective and so on) you can listen to some songs to refresh your memory. Also there is a punctuation song below too. If you like, you can even sing along too.

Below, you will find a link to a resource that is currently being offered free to help children learn maths, in particular times tables understanding (not just fact recall) and has been designed and created by Pete Sides. We know many of you use TT Rockstars but this works very differently in that it builds understanding and thoughts rather than just memorisation. Check it out!

Good morning Team LG,
I hope you are all well and taking care. I'm really missing each and everyone of you but I know that the current situation we're in is for the health and safety of us all. It seems very strange to be sat here writing this on what would have been our second day at Kingswood. Although it is disappointing to know we are not where we should be right now, please do not be too disheartened as I am in the process of re-arranging the date for later on in the year. I'm sure that that waiting a little longer will just make us that bit more excited. I hope you are all getting on okay with your learning packs. I have been posting lots of different activities on our class blog page so make sure you scroll down and have a look. There's quite a lot there to keep you busy and your mind occupied during this very unusual situation. You can also have a look at things the other teachers have been posting on their class blogs or on our curriculum pages under the 'Our Curriculum' tab on the website. Remember that if you have any questions about any of your work then you can send me an email using the contact form on our main class page. Thank you very much to everyone who has kept me updated with the things you've been doing at home. It's been great to see you engaged in learning and also helping out with household chores. If you've not yet sent anything and would like to please email the school at '[email protected]' or ask your parents/carers to tweet us '@WombwellParkSt'. Take care for now and keep doing what you're doing. You are all BRILLIANT! Stay home and stay safe. Lots of love to you all and your families. Miss Garratt Chatter Pack offers some 'free, online, boredom-busting resources'. If you click on the two links below and scroll down, there is quite an extensive list of activities and resources you can use at home.
https://chatterpack.net/blogs/blog/list-of-online-resources-for-anyone-who-is-isolated-at-home https://chatterpack.net/blogs/blog/resources-list-for-home-learning They also offer some further resources on the following link but most of these need to be paid for so you would need to speak to your parents/carers first, https://chatterpack.net/collections/chatterpack-esources |
