EZ - My favourite lesson is art because I get to be very creative.
I like literacy because you get to do creative writing and learn from your mistakes. I like phonics lessons the least I think its boring. I like all the teachers, teaching assistants and dinner ladies I've had since I've been at school, because they support us and help us if we struggle. JB - My favourite lesson is literacy because I like writing a lot and writing big sentences. I don't really like xylophones because I get a bit bored of them and that makes me tired. I like doing my homework and my reading at home. I like all of my teachers and teaching assistants since coming to school, they help us then we need help. My favourite teachers and assistants are Mrs Clarke, Miss Clementson and Mrs Jones. Literacy - using plurals, when to use s/es/ies
Geography - looking at the place we live, our town, city, county, country, and continent. Science - we are reviewing rock cycle and testing the properties of rocks, such as the permeability and durability. Spanish - "Me Gusta" - "I like". We have been using this little phrase to say which fruits we like. P.E - Dancing like fish/sharks using the jaws theme tune to dance like a shark. Music - D, E, F tune and reading music (see video below) Art - making and painting pots in the style of Tony Marsh. ETeam AC have continued to work hard on their music, playing the xylophones and learning C, D and E in more complex pieces of music and they are doing so well! Here is some of our marvellous music... This half term Team AC are working on dancing like different types of animal, so far we have danced like; Tigers, elephants, birds and this week fish/sharks. Our wonderful children have really embraced this and used lots of different moves to express themselves as animals, dance is so good for our bodies and our minds. Here is a video from this weeks dance. Hope you enjoy it. Team AC love Spanish, they are so quick to learn! This week we are working on "I like... Strawberry, pear, kiwi etc The children are doing so well and love all the Spanish words for fruit, here are some videos of the children saying what they've learnt in Spanish this week.
This week we used our mindful session to learn about the Chinese New Year - this year will be year of the Rabbit.
