AC Teachers and TAs we would like to wish you all a magical Christmas and we can't wait to see all of our lovely children back in the New Year, but not before they've had a well deserved break, they have all worked so hard this term!! Literacy - creative writing using descriptive words.
Numeracy - column addition, working on solving problems with a carry over into tens and hundreds. Spanish - using Spanish to request dinners and learning happy Christmas. Art - making lots of things, snowflakes, wreaths, calendars and lots of Christmas colouring and drawing. P.E - warm up exercises, bench ball working in teams using communication and teamwork. Lots of Christmas fun, and of course toy day today!! Children in Team AC decorated their own Christmas tree with home made baubles of themselves. What a great thing to do and a keepsake after to treasure. The children did some fantastic work making salt dough Diva Lamps, we thought you may like to see all the hard work that went into them from designing to moulding, painting and then taking home to display. Well done Team AC.
Next week we will be performing our Christmas show, as there are four classes coming together to perform there will be four occasions the children will be on stage. We would like the children to wear a Christmas jumper or top if possible. If this could be brought into school on Monday (5th December) the children can keep it here and wear it for each performance. Team AC parents are invited to watch on Friday the 9th of December at 2 o'clock. We look forward to seeing you there. OF - I like doing singing, because we all do really good singing.
I like maths because I think it's really fun. This week I really enjoyed the coffee morning, I played some games and especially enjoyed my cup of tea. CC - I like maths and science because the more we learn the easier it is and we have really good times. I like going to phonics because I like learning new sounds and words. I like getting to play with my friends. I like learning new lots of new things, like the stone age in geography. I love colouring in art. Numeracy and Literacy - assessments
