Hi Team LG,
As another week comes to an end, it is another week since we saw you at school. We are missing you terribly and look forward to the time when we next see you. The next week is the start of the Easter Holidays and therefore a time to rest and relax after all the hard work we have done this term, at school and at home. I hope you all have a fantastic two weeks break with your family. Have a break, you've certainly earnt it! Take the time to sit and reflect on what has been an unusual term and a few weeks that hopefully we will never have to experience again for a long long time. I am really proud of the positivity you have shown over the past few weeks and want you to know that I feel privileged to work with such a wonderful and resilient group of children. You are all amazing! Following the holidays, I will be back with more suggestions for home learning activities to keep you all busy. Stay safe and stay home! A little Easter craft idea for you to try! They look very fun to design and create. Follow the instructions below.
To remind you of all the different word classes (nouns, verbs, adjective and so on) you can listen to some songs to refresh your memory. Also there is a punctuation song below too. If you like, you can even sing along too.
Conjunctions Here are some songs about different types of punctuation. Check them out.
Quotation marks Just in case there weren't enough Science experiments for you earlier in the week, take a look at the ones in folder below. ![]()
Below, you will find a link to a resource that is currently being offered free to help children learn maths, in particular times tables understanding (not just fact recall) and has been designed and created by Pete Sides. We know many of you use TT Rockstars but this works very differently in that it builds understanding and thoughts rather than just memorisation. Check it out!

Not enough I hear you say. In that case, also have a look at TopMarks. These games are perfect for children in Key Stage 2 and will really support and develop their understanding of SPAG.
